Rossella Izzo

ROSSELLA IZZO

(Rome, April 22, 1953) is an actress, dubbing director, dubbing director, and Italian director.
She is the daughter of the renowned dubbing director and dubbing director Renato Izzo and sister of the actress and director who is already dubbing Simona, and sister of the flamboyant Fiamma and Giuppy Izzo.
Her mother, Liliana D'Amico, runs the Pumaisdue company, founded by her father, with her sisters.
At the age of seven, on the film set, Vittorio De Sica's Universal Judgment, he started his career as a double-talker: first for the CID co-operative, then for the CD, CVD, SAS and finally Trenta / Pumais Group, following his father Renato, famous singer. After finishing his artistic studies at 18, he began acting in the theaters-cabaret as an actress and songwriter but continues to play the double-acting.
Among others, he has dubbed Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer.
For Disney he dubbed Mary Darling in The Adventures of Peter Pan in the second dubbing made in 1986.
He begins with the twin sister Simona in the film Words and Kisses, followed by numerous fiction for Rai and Mediaset.
She has three children including Myriam and Giulia Catania; The third son is the special effects technician Gianmario Catania.
He won three times the Golden Lego Prize: in 1995 for Susan Sarandon's dubbing in Dead Man Walking - Sentenced to death in 2010 as "Women's Voice of the Year" and in 2015, he finally won the Special Prize 20 Years of Golden Legs and the Critics Prize.
Awarded for his acting as director during the eleventh edition of the Grand Prix Corallo City of Alghero in July 2011.
