FRANCESCO VENDITTI

(Rome, 27 August 1976) is an Italian actor and songwriter.

Son of the singer-songwriter Antonello Venditti and the singer, actress, screenwriter and director Simona Izzo, chooses to follow the mother's path, dedicating himself very young both to acting and dubbing; The latter is also the work of his grandfather Renato Izzo, and aunt Rossella Izzo, mother of the mother (in turn mother of actress and singer Myriam Catania and of the dubbing machine Giulia Catania), Fiamma Izzo (mother of the double-faced Lilian Caputo , Red Caputo and Anita Valenzi) and Giuppy Izzo (mother of the dubberies Nike Pucci and Alessandro Mottini). His two sons, Thomas and Alice, who had actress Alexandra La Capria, began to work in dubbing.

In 1996 he debuted as an actor in the film with the movie "Vite cuts", directed by Ricky Tognazzi, his mother's husband, and appears for the first time on television in the TV movie directed by Paolo Poeti, Compagni di branco. In 2006 he has the role of Cristiano Keller in The Black Arrow, directed by Fabrizio Costa, and Fausto Corradi in This is my land, directed by Raffaele Mertes, both miniseries broadcast by Channel 5.

In 2008, along with Adriano Giannini and Claudia Zanella, is the protagonist of the Rai Uno miniseries, Forbidden Love, directed by Anna Negri, premiered in 2007 during the first edition of Roma Fiction Fest. In May 2009 he returned to the big screen with the film several times postponed, titled Powder, directed by Massimiliano D'Epiro and Danilo Proietti. In the same year he directed Ganja Fiction, directed by Mirko Virgili, The Last 56 Hours, directed by Claudio Fragasso, and 5, directed by Francesco Maria Dominedò.

In 2010 she plays the syndicalist Mario in My Mother, directed by Ricky Tognazzi and Bianca Guaccero.
